Description

The Image Rotator Mirror Unit (IRMU) is a monolithic three-mirror unit — a ‘K-mirror’ — with a mirror-adjustment mechanism that generates an inverted or rotated image. Rotating the unit about the optical axis rotates the image at double the angle. Because it is a reflective optic, it works with collimated, converging and diverging beams and is free of chromatic aberration, making it suitable for spectroscopy. It offers clear advantages over a Dove prism.

이미지 로테이터 미러 유닛(IRMU)은 3개의 미러를 일체화한 ‘K-미러’ 유닛으로, 미러 조정 기구를 통해 반전 또는 회전 이미지를 생성합니다. 광축을 중심으로 유닛을 회전하면 이미지는 두 배 각도로 회전합니다. 반사광학이므로 평행·수렴·발산 빔 모두에 적용되고 색수차가 없어 분광에 적합하며, 도브 프리즘 대비 뚜렷한 장점을 제공합니다.
